DIY: Deep Hair Conditioner

Dry, damaged hair? Millions of people can relate. Buying deep hair conditioning products or getting a conditioning treatment at a spa can be expensive, and most treatments contain unnatural ingredients. This homemade deep hair conditioner is easy to make and will leave your hair soft and smooth.
 
Ingredients
3 tablespoons coconut oil
1 tablespoon olive oil
8 drops doTERRA essential oils
 
A few great essential oils for your hair include: Lavender, Peppermint, Rosemary, Geranium, and Clary Sage. You can use one or all five of the essential oils in your deep conditioner.
 
Instructions
  1. Put coconut oil, olive oil, and essential oils in mixing bowl.
  2. Mix on medium/high speed for five minutes or until ingredients are whipped to a thick and creamy consistency.
  3. Once whipped, apply to clean, dry hair.
  4. Comb through with wide tooth comb to evenly distribute.
  5. Let sit 15–20 minutes. Rinse, shampoo and style as desired.
  6. Repeat once a week or as often as desired.

Lazy avocado sushi

This non-conventional sushi recipe hits all the requirements: easy, healthy, filling, gluten-free, vegetarian, vegan, and low glycemic index, while also containing carbs, protein, fiber, vitamins, and healthy fats. Lazy Avocado Sushi can be eaten as an exotic and easy after-school snack or a quick and elegant lunch.



Ingredients
1 avocado
1 cup brown rice, cooked
4 tablespoons soy sauce
1- 1½ tablespoons rice vinegar
1 toothpick of Ginger oil
Sesame seeds
 
Topping Variations
High quality raw salmon, tuna, or yellowtail
Cooked shrimp
Fresh pineapple, diced
Fresh mango, diced
Coconut shavings
Lemon, sliced thinly
Lime, sliced thinly
Fish sauce
Peanuts
 
Instructions
  1. Cut avocado in half. 
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce and rice vinegar. Dip a toothpick into the orifice of the Ginger oil.
  3. Dip toothpick into sauce mixture and swirl to combine.
  4. Mix rice with sauce. Top avocado with rice. Drizzle more sauce on top if desired, and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
  5. Scoop out with a spoon and enjoy your lazy sushi bite by bite.
Tip: You can also replace Ginger oil with Lemongrass oil, Lime oil, or Wild Orange oil.
