Essential Oil Bubble Bath

Taking a bubble bath can be a fun treat for kids, or part of a relaxing night in for adults. However, most commercial bubble baths are full of artificial chemicals and fragrances and can be irritating to your skin. To reduce the chemicals in your home, but still enjoy the benefits of a bubble bath, we recommend making your own bubble bath with essential oils and other ingredients that are gentle on your skin.

While you could add essential oil directly to your bath, essential oils are not water soluble, meaning they won't dissolve in water alone. To resolve this issue, you would normally add essential oils to epsom salt or soap and add it to the water. In this case, the other ingredients in our DIY bubble bath help disperse the oil throughout the water in the same way.

Including an essential oil in bath time is a wise choice when you want to create a specific atmosphere. For example, for a relaxing bath, use Lavender or doTERRA Serenity® essential oils. For a rejuvenating bath, use Citrus Bliss® to wake up.

Ingredients
1 cup unscented castile soap
½ cup vegetable glycerin
2 tablespoons water
15 drops preferred doTERRA essential oil

Instructions
  1. Combine castile soap, glycerin, and water into glass bowl
  2. Add essential oils
  3. Stir until well combined
  4. Pour into glass container.
  5. To use, add ¼–½ cup of the essential oil bubble bath mixture to warm, running bath water.
Note: These bubbles are not going to provide big fluffy bubbles that last a long time since it doesn't contain the synthetic ingredients that create the high amounts of lather or foam. However, this chemical-free bath will provide enough bubbles for a relaxing and therapeutic bath you will enjoy even more.

Copaiba vs cbd oil

Have you been wondering about the difference between CBD, Cannabis & Copaiba?

CBD interacts with our CB2 receptors and gives us incredible therapeutic benefits such as: pain relief, decreased inflammation, reduced anxiety, cancer prevention, nervous system support, seizure prevention, lowered insulin levels, cardiovascular health, and more!

THC is the component that interacts with our CB1 receptors which is responsible for causing the "high" associated with marijuana.

What you may not know is that there's a THIRD type of cannabinoid--BCP (aka Copaiba). BCP is the long lost relative we always hoped we'd find! Last year dōTERRA released Copaiba essential oil. Within 10 days of its release an entire years supply was sold out!

While it's different from CBD, it directly affects the same CB2 receptors. Meaning, it provides the same benefits as mentioned above . One major difference is that BCP is much more concentrated so the therapeutic benefits are way more apparent!

For example:
CBD derived from hemp has a 2-4% concentration. CBD derived from cannabis/marijuana has a 5-35% concentration. dōTERRA’s BCP is 60%!!

dōTERRA is the first company ever to formulate their Copaiba using 4 different species making it the highest concentrated cannabinoid available, yet because it is not a cannabis derivative it will never show up on a drug test or make you high.

Use dōTERRA Copaiba Softgels to receive antioxidant support for your cellular health. The softgels also support the health of the respiratory system, the digestive system, the immune system and the cardiovascular system. Take one softgel daily to address concerns with any or all of these systems. When taken on a regular basis, your overall health can improve!

Lifelong Vitality supplements

I start each day with doTERRA's Lifelong Vitality supplements. I find that these supplements help me with sustained energy, better mental clarity and emotional balance, and I really notice the difference if I run out of them.

A pilot study published by the Journal of Dietary Supplements in 2018 involving 16 participants found that after two months of using Lifelong Vitality supplements, participants in the study had the following markers improve:
  • HDL cholesterol,
  • LDL/HDL cholesterol ratio,
  • fasting insulin,
  • homocysteine,
  • serum vitamin E,
  • eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and
  • arachidonic acid (AA) / eicosapentaenoic acide (EPA).

These findings demonstrate that the supplementation had significant positive effects on biochemical indicators of cardiovascular health, antioxidant status, inflammation, and blood glucose regulation. All of the outcomes in the 16-item qualitative survey were improved after two months of supplementation. Twelve of these outcomes were significantly improved. The participants reported more mental clarity, energy, motivation, control, balance, and happiness, while reporting less back pain, muscle pain, cold and flu incidence, anxiety, frustration, and irritation at the end of the two-month supplementation period.
