One of the best parts about summer is getting outside in nature as much
as possible. There are so many oils that can make our experiences that
much more enjoyable and keep some of those summer weather annoyances at

Balance essential oil highlight
Feeling overwhelmed or anxious? Balance essential oil blend
promotes harmony, tranquility, and balance between your mind, body, and
emotions. We love to apply it to our temples, back of neck, wrists,
spine, the bottoms of our feet. This is a great oil to apply daily –
actually multiple times a day. You can keep Balance in a roller bottle
for more convenient use by just dumping the blend directly into a roller
bottle. The blend is already diluted with coconut oil so you
don’t have to do anything to the blend – making it a really easy.
Balance essential oil blend is my favorite essential oil. I inhale the sweet spruce forest scent in deeply and apply it to my neck everyday! I feel like it completes me, comforts and grounds me.

AromaTouch Technique
Have you tried to use the AromaTouch Technique on a loved one?
It's a beautiful way to connect and support a loved one with 8 healing oils, including
Our family's experience
(I wrote this 6 years ago...)
Our family has just gone through a very stressful time as my seven year old son recently spent 12 days in the hospital. It was difficult for all of us, and made even more difficult because the hospital is a scent-free environment and I was unable to freely use my essential oils. (Although, I still snuck a drop of frankincense on the bottoms of his feet in the morning and at night).
Today was our first full day back at home, and I offered my son an AromaTouch Technique session. Since he is like his dad and can't lie still for long periods of time, I didn't follow the technique to a tee, but I applied ~ 2 drops of each of the oils to his spine and gently massaged them along his spine. He told me that it helped his belly, which was sore, and it also helped to relax him.
It was a beautiful experience for the two of us to share as I comforted my son with my loving touch and the healing oils. And inhaling the scents of all 8 of the oils layered over each other was very healing for us both.
This technique is so calming and balancing for the system. My friend, Jaime, typically picks a couple of the AromaTouch technique oils (usually lavender, AromaTouch, Balance and sometimes wild orange), and puts them on her young daughters' backs and feet. She finds that the girls are extremely mellow and relaxed after.
