They utilize both in-house and third party testing. Each bottle has a source code which links to publicly available, third party test results online.

They don’t just test one batch of oils one time and provide a single analysis. They test every single bottle produced, every single time.

Third party testing is done through Aromatic Plant Research Center (APRC). Their lab specializes in the identification and quantification of pesticides, micro organisms, heavy metals, allergens, and synthetic chemicals.

They utilize 43 different testing methods including Gas Chromatography with Mass Spectrometry (GC-MS), Enantioselective or Chiral GC-MS, Gas Chromatography with flame ionization (GC-FID), liquid chromatography with mass spectrometry (LC/MS), and physical constant testing including: Optical Rotation, Specific Gravity, Refractive Index, Colorimeter (to name just some).

In addition, the Huntsman Cancer Institute recently partnered with doTERRA, and Prime Meridian health care centers are slated to open 30 medical centers across the country recommending doTERRA’s essential oils in conjunction with allopathic medical protocols.
