Granola Bars recipe

 
Ingredients
2 ½ cups quick oats
½ cup Rice Crispies
½ cup of mini semisweet chocolate chips
¼ cup brown sugar
½ teaspoon of salt
¼ cup coconut
⅛ cup flax seed
⅛ cup sesame seed
⅛ cup chia seed
⅓ cup coconut oil
¼ cup honey
½ teaspoon vanilla
2 drops Tangerine oil
 
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350° F.
  2. Mix all dry ingredients together. Set aside.
  3. Mix all wet ingredients together. Melt in a sauce pan over medium heat.
  4. Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients. Mix uniformly.
  5. Allow wet ingredients to absorb into dry ingredients.

    Tip: If mixture is too dry, add more coconut oil or honey; if too wet, add more oatmeal.
  6. Line cake pan with parchment paper. Pour in mixture and pat down.
  7. Bake for 12–15 minutes or until lightly brown.

Italian chicken soup recipe

The fresh vegetables, chicken and creamy sauce are brought to life in this soup with a few drops of Oregano oil. This soup is tasty and satisfying.

Ingredients
3 tablespoons flaked oregano
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 chicken breast
2 tablespoons chicken bouillon
6 cups water
4 stalks celery, diced
1 green pepper, diced
1 package pasta
4 Roma tomatoes, diced
1 pint whipping cream
2 drops Oregano oil
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon pepper

Instructions
  1. Place olive oil and flaked oregano in small skillet and saute over medium heat for approximately one minute. Set aside.
  2. Place chicken, one tablespoon of chicken bouillon, and one cup of water in pressure cooker. Cook for 20 minutes on high. Once chicken has finished cooking, shred or dice chicken.
  3. Place celery and green pepper in small skillet and saute over medium heat for approximately one minute.
  4. Place chicken, celery, and green pepper mixture back into pressure cooker. Add pasta.
  5. Mix one tablespoon of powdered chicken bouillon with five cups of water and pour over noodles until covered.
  6. Add salt and black pepper. Cook in pressure cooker on low pressure for two minutes.
  7. When complete, add whipping cream, tomatoes, the sauteed oregano, and Oregano oil. Mix thoroughly and let heat for one minute before serving.

DIY: Deep Hair Conditioner

Dry, damaged hair? Millions of people can relate. Buying deep hair conditioning products or getting a conditioning treatment at a spa can be expensive, and most treatments contain unnatural ingredients. This homemade deep hair conditioner is easy to make and will leave your hair soft and smooth.
 
Ingredients
3 tablespoons coconut oil
1 tablespoon olive oil
8 drops doTERRA essential oils
 
A few great essential oils for your hair include: Lavender, Peppermint, Rosemary, Geranium, and Clary Sage. You can use one or all five of the essential oils in your deep conditioner.
 
Instructions
  1. Put coconut oil, olive oil, and essential oils in mixing bowl.
  2. Mix on medium/high speed for five minutes or until ingredients are whipped to a thick and creamy consistency.
  3. Once whipped, apply to clean, dry hair.
  4. Comb through with wide tooth comb to evenly distribute.
  5. Let sit 15–20 minutes. Rinse, shampoo and style as desired.
  6. Repeat once a week or as often as desired.

Lazy avocado sushi

This non-conventional sushi recipe hits all the requirements: easy, healthy, filling, gluten-free, vegetarian, vegan, and low glycemic index, while also containing carbs, protein, fiber, vitamins, and healthy fats. Lazy Avocado Sushi can be eaten as an exotic and easy after-school snack or a quick and elegant lunch.



Ingredients
1 avocado
1 cup brown rice, cooked
4 tablespoons soy sauce
1- 1½ tablespoons rice vinegar
1 toothpick of Ginger oil
Sesame seeds
 
Topping Variations
High quality raw salmon, tuna, or yellowtail
Cooked shrimp
Fresh pineapple, diced
Fresh mango, diced
Coconut shavings
Lemon, sliced thinly
Lime, sliced thinly
Fish sauce
Peanuts
 
Instructions
  1. Cut avocado in half. 
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce and rice vinegar. Dip a toothpick into the orifice of the Ginger oil.
  3. Dip toothpick into sauce mixture and swirl to combine.
  4. Mix rice with sauce. Top avocado with rice. Drizzle more sauce on top if desired, and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
  5. Scoop out with a spoon and enjoy your lazy sushi bite by bite.
Tip: You can also replace Ginger oil with Lemongrass oil, Lime oil, or Wild Orange oil.

For a relaxing body wash, try Lavender, doTERRA Serenity®, Bergamot, Geranium, or Roman Chamomile.

Note: Vegetable glycerin will help the body wash to be thicker, creamier, and lather better.

Instructions

  1. Combine ingredients into glass pump bottle.
  2. Add desired essential oil(s).
  3. Shake to combine. Note: Make sure to shake before each use, as the ingredients will separate.

Jalapeno and Goat Cheese Hummus Recipe

Spicy and fresh, this hummus is a perfect blend of goat cheese, jalapenos, and beans. With added essential oils, this dip is full of flavor and healthy ingredients. Serve with veggies, bread or chips.

Ingredients

2 cans white kidney beans
1–2 jalapenos, depending on your preferred spice level
2–ounce plain goat cheese
1 toothpick Cilantro oil
1–3 drops Lime oil
1 teaspoon cumin
1 teaspoon honey
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon pepper
1–2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
1–3 tablespoons water for desired consistency

Instructions
  1. Preheat broiler. Place jalapenos on a baking sheet and rub with olive oil.
  2. Roast peppers under the broiler until jalapeno skin is blistered and blackened (about 5–10 minutes), turning with tongs periodically to ensure all sides are equally done.
  3. Remove jalapenos and place in a bowl and cover, allowing skin to steam and loosen, for about five minutes. Remove skins, tops, and seeds then roughly chop.
  4. Place all jalapenos, kidney beans, goat cheese, Lime oil, cumin, honey, salt, and pepper into the bowl of a food processor and pulse five to six times.
  5. Add a toothpick of Cilantro essential oil by dipping the toothpick into the oil and then swirling it into the dip.
  6. Pulse 10–15 times adding small amounts of olive oil until the desired consistency is reached.
  7. Taste and adjust seasonings to your liking.
  8. Store in the refrigerator but serve at room temperature with garlic crostini, veggies, whole grain chips, or pita slices.
Tip: You can substitute one teaspoon cumin in this recipe for one drop of Cumin oil, which is sometimes available as part of a limited time offer kit.
